Where’s Elvis?

A Buffalo Games puzzle from 1993. This puzzle comes complete with Elvis and some more famous people. So far I’ve found Madonna, Andy Warhol, Abraham Lincoln, Tarzan and Jane, Scooby Doo, Charles and Diana, the three bears, Superman, Jessica Rabbit, Mikhail Gorbachev, The Lone Ranger and Tanto, Julie Andrews, Charlie Chaplin, John Wayne and I think Weird Al.

This was a challenge because in order to not give away where Elvis was most of the image on box was concealed. This was found at Value Village in East Vancouver and is complete. Following are two close up shots of my favorites.

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
