A 500 piece Irish manufactured puzzle featuring Ireland’s prolific authors. I found this in a Salvation Army Thrift Store on fourth avenue in Vancouver. This is a manufacturer I’ve never come across; John Hinde, they specialise in creative Irish gifts.
Back to the puzzle, I realised out of these authors, I’ve only read two of them. Oscar Wilde and Bram Stoker. What have you read? Did you enjoy it?
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
