I really feel like this one found me. I spotted this in the lighting section at Value Village, a total mess of tangled cables and broken old Ikea lamps. This puzzle dates back to the sixties and is in immaculate condition. It was manufactured by Gallins Gallery in New York. 551 pieces and complete. A gem of a find!
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
