Vintage Blue Ribbon Brand printed in the UK. I have never found a puzzle by this company, it was such a pleasure to assemble this one. The pieces were sturdy, and I was so impressed at how vibrant the colours were. I would guess that this puzzle is from the 1960’s at the very least, and the fact that this has held up so nicely is amazing!
This is a 1200 piece puzzle and sadly 2 pieces were missing.
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
