A vintage 500 piece Ravensburger puzzle from 1970, this one is 50 years old! Part of the country series, this scene is certainly idyllic, a lovely little cottage, blue skies, Landfrauen, and the majestic Matterhorn in the distance.
I purchased this puzzle in 2010 when I lived in Germany for that year. I ended up bringing it back with me because these older Ravensburger puzzles are such a delight to put together.
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
