I found this charming little puzzle at Value Village late last year. Noticing that it hadn’t been opened, I thought it’d be a perfect little Christmas present for my Oma. She assembled it almost immediately.

I mentioned that I was running low on puzzles so she sent this over to me right away! This is manufactured by TCGtoys, 500 pieces, and part of their Americana series. It was quite an easy puzzle to assemble, but such a nice experience, the quality of the pieces was solid and there was a perfect fit and finish. I hope that I find more in the future!

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
