A vintage Crown Guild landscape puzzle by Whitman. I have no idea when this puzzle was released but I have a feeling that the skyline in New York has changed quite a bit. In this photo, the Chrysler Building looks to be the tallest in the skyline, all perspective, no doubt!
1000 pieces and complete, this was found about 7 years ago at the M.C.C. Thrift shop in East Vancouver.
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
