As a friend of the cats, I was pretty happy to find this puzzle at my local Value Village. A brand that I hadn’t tried before and cats all over! The brand is called the Vermont Christmas Company, made in the USA too.
Imagine how challenging it would be to try and assemble a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle with 151 pieces missing! It has been a very long time since I had a puzzle missing so many pieces. The last one was called Great Balls of Yarn, by Springbok.
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
