Puzzle in a puzzle – Mirrors

My next entry is a really unique idea by Areaware. Areaware is a gift and home accessories brand based in the US. You might know them by their gradient puzzles which kind of took the art gallery gift shops by storm a few years ago.

I had heard about these cool “puzzles in puzzles” a while ago and honestly never expected to find one at a thrift shop! The series all feature the photographs of Korean American photographer KangHee Kim.

I love this concept, the smaller puzzle in the centre of the photo is on a different grain and has a slightly smaller pieces. This puzzle was a pretty good challenge too, I worked on it over a couple evenings. The outer puzzle has 394 pieces and the inner one has 180. This was in excellent shape and complete.
