We’ve got a pretty special find on our hands here. A vintage 150 piece puzzle by Waddingtons of SHE-RA, the actual Princess of Power.
A lot of my friends watched SHE-RA and in all honesty, I never saw it. I had no idea what it was all about, but this puzzle did have me looking up some clips on YouTube. I can’t say if I would have liked it as a kid. My favourite shows were the ones with the puppets. I was really into Sesame Street, the Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock. Those were my all time favourites!
I can’t say that I watched too many cartoons, my parents were in their mid twenties when I was about cartoon age and if I was watching something they usually were too. So, I ended up watching more adult shows like SCTV and The Kids in the Hall.
Even though I wasn’t a super-fan, I still enjoyed assembling this. I watched a few clips with Joe and he told me a bit more about some 1980s cartoons. As you can see, there were two pieces missing. But….. I also got two bonus pieces from other puzzles!
