One in a Million…

I have never found a mini Springbok puzzle, up until about a month ago at Value Village! I couldn’t believe my luck. A 1981 mini puzzle in a mini puzzle box!

These happy little stars came home with me and will be part of my permanent puzzle collection. In my experience, these are rare. The fact that it is round and complete, I am star struck!

I’ve spoken about mini puzzles before, but I absolutely love them. They’re great to do with your morning coffee to help yourself wake up, or as a break from work without having the temptation of more pieces to assemble therefore procrastinate from the work you need to do. I did this one with my breakfast before I had to head out for work and it sure did brighten my day!

I mean how sweet is this? The puzzle is a Springbok, over 60 pieces and complete.

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
