Did anyone out there have a typewriter growing up? I remember that we did when I was a kid. It was just a standard black typewriter, but I loved playing with it. we must have sold it when we moved from Ontario to BC.

I found this at Value Village on one of my many visits. I’ve seen it around and I do really enjoy their shaped puzzles!

In my strategizing for this puzzle, I was way off! I thought that the keyboard would be the starting point, then maybe the keys, and the blue and dark bits.

Well, as I said… I was way off. The keyboard was so hard and was eventually left for last. I was able to finish most of the outline, I filled in the bottom and the space bar and then moved up to the long silver keys and the top of the typewriter.

I was pretty happy with the challenge level of this puzzle! I think I worked on it for a total of three evenings. This was about 750 pieces, manufactured by Galison, a favourite, for sure!
