Friends, please enjoy this collage puzzle of various musical icons of the past 7 decades.
When I picked this up at the thrift store, I had initially thought that it might be a good one for Joe and I to do together. I started it just after New Years and quickly lost my steam, there were a few very distinct areas and colour patches but up close, everything was kind of brown and murky. I’m not going to lie, I didn’t really have fun with this one.
I definitely enjoyed some parts of it, but overall, I just thought it was kind of boring. I don’t know what else to say.
This is manufactured by White Mountain Puzzles in 2007, it almost vintage! Ha ha! I typically really enjoy their puzzles but I guess I was just expecting something else with this one.
I did get Joe to assemble the Grateful Dead skull, which I think he enjoyed!

Was the artist James Mellett? I don’t quite care for his artistic style. For example, Kurt Cobain doesn’t even look like himself, he’s looks too gruff and tough.

Wow, great instinct! I checked and yes, that’s the artist. Agreed about Kurt, and Springsteen looks like Jerry Seinfeld 😂
