I think that it’s safe to say that Spring has arrived in Halifax! I am sitting on my patio as I write this, warming up in the sun. Crocuses and snowdrops are popping up in gardens everywhere and I often wake up to birds singing to each other.

I thought that this sweet little mini puzzle by the New York Puzzle Company would be a nice one to feature in honour of Spring arriving to the East Coast. It’s a New Yorker cover illustrated by Tom Gauld.

The flowers and buds are my favourite part of Spring but I definitely love to hear the birds singing and calling to each other, I also love how wild it drives Otto and Alomar!
In our new place, we have a great birdwatching window and there are a couple trees out back where the birds hang out. In the morning after their breakfast, the boys will sit at the window with their ears flat and chatter at the birds outside.

I liked the cat detail in this puzzle, no birdsong themed puzzle would be complete without it!
All in all this was a fun and quick little puzzle to put together on a lovely Spring morning. It’s 100 pieces, made by the New York Puzzle Company and complete.
