Vintage Kellogg’s

I managed to get in one last collage puzzle for the puzzle along on Instagram a couple of weeks ago. It was another Vintage Kellogg’s Cereals collage. Apparently a popular choice for puzzles, there’s this one, and this one, and now for my third one! You might think that cereal was life for me, what with amount of cereal puzzles I’ve put together.

I mean, sure I like cereal, but I’m not wild for it, you know?

I just really enjoy these vintage ads and graphics, I was very into the vintage Tony the Tigers in this particular puzzle.

As I was puzzling all the Tonys, I was chatting with Joe about a TV ad in the 90s for Frosted Flakes. Tony the Tiger was bobsledding, maybe this was aired during the Olympics? Am I remembering that correctly?

I’m also having deja vu of having written about this commercial in a blog post, I’m guessing that I did. Ha ha ha, I guess this commercial was a very influential ad for me as a kid!

I really never liked Frosted Flakes though, I certainly didn’t think that they were great! I was a Cheerios and Corn Flakes kid, a Vector teen, a Cinnamon Toast Crunch early 20s and a Corn Bran 25 year old. Now, I do enjoy a bowl of Oatmeal Crisp here and there. I’m not sure what this says about my development as a person, I really took a sugary nose dive in my early 20s!

This puzz is 1000 pieces, complete and manufactured by Karmin International Puzzles. It was pretty fun to put together, you may have noticed that the images repeat throughout the puzzle, which was a new format for me. That made it kind of fun, I collected the pieces that clearly belonged to a tile and assemble the three different tiles until I was able to finally connect them all to each other. And then, just like that, I had a put together puzzle!
