Fishing at Eagle Rock

I am really enjoying the circular puzzles from the Great American Puzzle Factory. I did assemble the Circle of Life earlier this summer and just last week, I felt the pull of this one.

This is, in my opinion, a classic puzzle style, that will never get old for me. A nature scene in a round puzzle shape, it can be a drawing, painting, or a photograph it really doesn’t matter to me. But I will always come back to these types of puzzles!

This particular one was special because of the hidden images within the image. There are bears, salmon, and eagles all hidden within the features of the drawing. I love that.

I used to have a t-shirt that featured a wolf scene in the woods, but then there were about 7 or 8 more wolves hidden in the image, and then when you turned out the lights it glowed in the dark to reveal one final wolf! They don’t make them like they used to, I tell ya!

Another aspect to this puzzle that is absolute perfection, is this fabulous piece cut. The pieces are a little wonky in shape, but they fit together so well and have the puzzler really thinking outside the box. I love this kind of mental exercise, keeps me on my toes.

Have we found all the creatures yet?

There’s just a few more hidden creatures in that last picture.

This puzzle dates back to 1995, was manufactured by the Great American Puzzle Factory, which has become my favourite vintage brand of the year, 500 pieces and and beautifully complete and in mint condition.
