Vintage Books – Best Sellers

Remember last week I mentioned we went away a couple of times while my parents were visiting?

We also visited the Highlands in Cape Breton! We Stayed in yet another lovely Airbnb by Cheticamp for a few days. This place is a little bit more remote, so we brought in all our groceries and I packed a couple of puzzles for the weekend too.

Good thing that I did, because this place had a lot of games, but no puzzles. There was a loft space that had a games table and the TV and lounge area. We spent many of our evenings in the loft space, it gets pretty dark in Cape Breton, there isn’t too much light pollution around, and being winter the sun sets are early ish.

Perfect for some evening puzzle time!

I picked up this White Mountain 1000 piece collage puzzle of vintage book covers about a month ago. I just love these types of images, cool artwork on the book covers, a little bit of text here and there, and an added bonus, you can spot which books you’ve read, or maybe seen the movie versions of once it’s all complete.

As you can tell from some of my past puzzles – I’m not joking when I say that I like this style of puzzle. Remember this one? And this one, which was super fun and even has some of the same covers!

This puzzle, also by White Mountain is similar too, a Stamp Collector’s Dream.

I chose to bring this puzzle with me, because it would be a really easy one to do with a few people, each person could pick a book and work on theirs without getting in the way of each other.

Joe actually puzzled with me for a bit, it was really nice!

I really like that Animal Farm book cover, it’s pretty sweet.

Again this was 1000 pieces, found at the thrift store and complete. Also, stored in a nice compact size box, which I haven’t seen too many smaller boxes from White Mountain, this may even be the first.
