Ok, I think if you know me well, or possibly if you read this blog regularly, you would not expect this puzzle to make an appearance on this blog.

Truth! I don’t know anything about this character, Joe informed me that it is a video game. That is all I know!
We found this in the fall at the Mission Mart in Halifax, I skimmed over it, because again, I know nothing about this. But Joe always takes a look after I’ve done a sweep of the puzzles. Which is great, because he has the eye, and has pointed out some real gems in the past that I missed initially.

He put this one in our basket, and I asked why and what is it? I learned that it was a video game and that his good friend’s daughter really loves to play it. She’s into puzzles and he wanted to check it out and then send it over to her if it was complete.
I noticed that it was a USAoply, so I knew that it would be pretty good quality, they make a lot of pop culture styled puzzles, but again they’re not just style over substance. See the Golden Girls and Bob’s Burgers.

So I told him, that I’d need his help assembling this one and that he should know that it would be a slightly difficult puzzle, due the random cut pieces and the gradient sky (a personal favourite, but not everyone’s preference!). He agreed and we bought it.

He started it over the winter break, did the majority of the edge and then kind of lost interest, but of course by that time I was fully immersed in that gradient sky. I think that was his plan all along, ha ha ha! I finished the puzzle on my own, verified that it is complete and we can send it off to a true Zelda fan.

That sky is really gorgeous! 1000 pieces and complete from USAopoly.
