More Birds!
This one however, I chose. I went to a puzzle trade at a local store in Dartmouth and I picked out this one to bring home with me. You may remember Garden Nap from just a little while ago, that was another swap at that same event.
I picked this one out for a lot of reasons: I love a grid style arrangement for a puzzle, I love Galison images, I noticed that these birds were paper art just like the set of three minis in Birdtopia that I assembled back in 2024. As a matter of fact, the same artist – Diana Beltran Herrera – made these birds too!
It was much harder to get some nice detailed photos of the stunning paper art, but believe me, there was some very nice paper art featured in this puzzle collage.
I also really enjoyed that these were all portrayed in a postage stamp format, I wonder if the artist recreated actual stamps or just simply made the pieces as stamps. Either way, their work is just incredible, there’s so much detail!
I think we might be able to sense that I am really happy about Spring arriving! Birds, flowers, bright and colourful images, I am ready.
This cheerful puzzle was complete and just so much fun to put together!
