Long before I started this blog, maybe around 2013, I found a copy of this stunning Spring fever dream of a puzzle! I absolutely loved it back then, I probably passed it on, because I was working with very limited storage space in my old apartment. But I remember really liking it.
Fast forward to 2025, and I found a shrink wrapped sealed copy of the same puzzle!!
All I can say is wow, what a treat. The box is in perfect, pristine condition, the pieces fit together just so nicely, the colours were vibrant, I enjoyed my time assembling this so very much.
I was hoping for a product sheet inside the box, but sadly, there wasn’t one included. I suppose I can’t be too choosy. This puzzle was released in 1977, so it does make me wonder when those product sheets started being included inside the puzzle box. Probably in the 1980’s at some point. I can’t say that I’ve ever found one dated before the 80’s, so I guess that tracks.
This was an amazing experience to feel those pieces and assemble a 49 year old puzzle for the very first time! I highly recommend it 🙂
