Mystery Puzzle

I think we all know that I am a loyal NorDevCo fan, so when I found one of their mystery puzzles at the thrift store last year I was beyond excited! Up to that time, I was not aware of this series of theirs, but a few months later, Karen Puzzles made a video about one of them. Karen is also a bit of a NorDevCo fan and had learned about these mystery puzzles and hinted one down on eBay.

What I learned in the video that is not listed on the box front, pictured above, is that the images were pulled from NorDevCo’s archive of images, so they weren’t commissioned for this line of mystery puzzles, so Karen actually looked up their whole collection to show the amount of possibilities that hers could be.

Now, it pains me to say that while I was so engaged with the actual image I got in my mystery selection, this was not a super fun assemble. This was a very tight fitting puzzle that I really had to smoosh in the pieces, to the point that my fingertips hurt by the end of my puzzle. I’m not sure if you spotted int he picture above that the puzzle is curling at the sides, that’s how snug it is!

I’m happy I found this and that I got such a fun image but I have to say that might not keep this one simply because I can’t say that I would assemble it again. TBD. The collector in me want to keep it, but the space saving conscious organizer in me wants to pass it on.

Here’s a deal, the next NorDevCo puzzle that i assemble and blog about, I’ll let you know what I end up doing with this.
