I don’t complete all that many dog puzzles, not because I don’t like dogs, but I don’t come across all that many of them second hand. I recently came across this MOMA souvenir puzzle from 1993 though and this is exactly the kind of fun kitschy dog puzzle I can get into.
You may recall that I have found a MOMA souvenir puzzle before, here is a major throwback to The Vulture Collar, Still considered one of my most special puzzles, it was cut and made by one of my favourite vintage brands, Milton Bradley, and it dates back to 1978. Now, unlike the Vulture Collar, the Museum of Modern Dog puzzle doesn’t appear to have been made by a popular puzzle brand. Thankfully they did go with a good quality manufacturer, whichever company it was that they chose.
This is such a silly image, all the patrons of the museum are dogs, naturally, they are wearing hilarious sort of fancy art crowd type outfits. I really appreciate that choice on the artist’s part.
I think this is such a cute souvenir puzzle for a puzzle pal from the Museum of Modern Art! I do also love to pick up postcards for some of my favourite pieces from museums but this would definitely be a top contender in my books too!
This “piece” cracks me up! It reminds me of Batman, but slightly evil. It’s just so silly. I also love the dog version of the Mona Lisa with Jennifer Aniston hair, that perfectly flat ironed look.
This fun vintage puzzle is 500 piece and it is complete and in pristine condition! I love these pups 🙂
