Lion’s Pride

CAM00347

Cats and puzzles go hand in hand. I can’t tell you how many puzzles of cats I find. Wild cats, domestic cats, cartoon cats, baby cats, sleeping cats, cats with yarn strung around their ears, I’ve seen them all. It’s like puzzle manufacturers assume that all puzzle people are cat people. I have to say, these baby lions are really cute and yes I did remark on their cuteness several times while doing this puzzle. This is a Springbok puzzle that I found at Value Village, thirteen pieces missing.

Here is a photo of my cat sitting on the puzzle.

  1. So cute! What do you do with ones that have missing pieces? If it’s just a few, I trade with someone for like condition, or make replacements. If more than five missing, I re-donate or just recycle 😦

    1. Hi Jeane,
Great question, I do pretty much what you said you do. I am not too bothered with the thought of missing pieces so I will re-donate the puzzles. The special thing for me is puzzling on some very cool, vintage images and if they’re missing a few, that’s totally fine by me 🙂 I’ve never made replacement pieces but I have done some puzzles that have had a some, which I found pretty special! I also came across a few puzzles with a huge amount of missing pieces, so I did recycle those ones 😉

      1. Yes. The worst I’ve had so far was 95 pieces missing from a 500-piece puzzle. I couldn’t believe it!
