An amazing collection of graphics from around the world. The creator of this image is a graphic designer based in San Fransisco, an avid traveller always ready with a camera. I found this at Value Village in East Vancouver. The employee who helped me, commented how fun this would be to put together and immediately commented on the “occupied” seat in the bottom left of the puzzle, and then giggled. He’s worked there for a while and I always love his chit chat, he’s so silly but sweet.

My personal favourite in this puzzle is the “mind the gap”image. The stick man looks like he’s boogie dancing with the train.

This is a 1000 piece puzzle, manufactured by Galison in New York,and is complete.

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
