A round vintage Milton Bradley puzzle from 1968! What a find. This is part of a series called Dorset Round jigsaw puzzles. In all my years of thrifting and puzzling, I have found two from this particular series. Mountain Hamlet is sadly missing three pieces right up at the top of the circle. Despite this, still a lovely puzzle to assemble, you can feel the quality in these vintage puzzles.
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
