Textile art at it’s finest! This impressive tapestry by Arlene Rose Gosieski has been made into puzzle form, creating the perfect marriage of my interests.
You can see the words from the artist on the back of the box.
This was found a couple weeks ago at the neighbourhood thrift store, manufactured by springbok in 1993, 500 pieces and is complete.
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
