A couple months ago, buried in the many puzzles and games of the Value Village on East Hastings street, I spotted an Andrew’s Blaine logo. This manufacturer is becoming one of my favourites, I was hopeful that it was another in the series of the Lantern Press vintage Canadian Travel posters.

It was! A fully sealed Atlantic Canada poster puzzle. What a thrill, this is why I love to head to the thrift shop, finds like these.

I am just loving these puzzles, the quality is awesome, I love the random cut pieces and these images are just the best. Joe and I were planning on taking a trip to Nova Scotia this past summer, hopefully next year we can make it happen.

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
