I loved the font on the box of this puzzle! It really made me laugh when I saw the picture. A super full fridge with a clock that reads 12:15 sitting right on top of it.

No doubt you can recognize that this is the work of Springbok puzzles, circa 1991. I have to be very honest…. this puzzle really grossed me out. All of this food just sitting there unwrapped in the fridge?! A shrimp cocktail sitting right next to a Black Forest Cake? The hoagie with olive garnish! Chicken legs sitting on top of lettuce? Blech, gross!

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
