I seem to be on a shaped puzzle kick lately! On a recent trip to the thrift store I found a treasure trove of mini puzzles including a “little puzzle thing” released by Areaware a couple years ago.

These are so fun! Just a quick little ten minute puzzle “snack” (get it!?) for when you might want to take a little brain break. These would make such a great present, there’s not too much pressure to complete a large puzzle and you can curate to people’s taste. There’s a birthday cake one, which I really like 🙂

This little guy is 70 pieces and complete.

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
