I’ve found a few more of the mini Springbok puzzles! This charming little Christmas puzzle was found at the Hastings Street Value Village in Vancouver. I’d found just a few weeks before Christmas in 2021.

A total fluke too! I was in the Christmas decorations aisle, which seeing as we have two kitties, we don’t have a tree or really decorate all that much I wouldn’t normally find myself browsing that section. But there it was hiding in amongst the snow globes and wine glass charms. A shrink wrapped vintage mini Springbok Christmas puzzle. How lucky can you get?

Seeing as it was still sealed, it was complete. Just over 70 pieces and so sweet.

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
