A rarer find here in North America and Nova Scotia, a vintage kids Clementoni Lion King puzzle! I haven’t found many vintage Clementoni’s, they are an Italian brand so no doubt you’d come across them more often in European second hand stores.
There is no publishing date on the box, but I’m sure that it must have been released around the time of the movie release in the 90s, I’m not a Disney adult, I want to put that out there. I did watch the animated movies when I was a kid, I absolutely loved Alice in Wonderland, and the Rescuers movies. Mostly because they were adventure movies and not all about finding that one true love.
Did I watch the Lion King, of course, I had a lot of the Disney movies on VHS, actually. I will say that the Lion King movie wasn’t exactly on my regular rotation, but I did watch it every once in a while. I was mostly kind of scared of Scar and all the hyenas, he was a pretty scary villain, the lighting when he was on screen always made me pretty uneasy, ha ha ha.
This kids puzzle is a 104 piecer but mine, as you can see was a 99 piecer, it was missing five pieces, sadly. Oh well, what can you do? One box out of the puzzle pile!
Throwback to another Lion King puzzle I found last year, I think I prefer that one, mostly because I love a mini 🙂
