Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

There is a fun arcade in town called Propeller Arcade, they are part of a brewery called Propeller and downstairs from the taproom is the arcade. They have pinball, and arcade games like Pac Man and other vintage video games, they also screen movies on a monthly basis and they have started this new series called the Archive.

We went to the first archive screening back in the summer and keep in mind, they do not announce which movie they’ll be showing, so it could be something incredible or somethin very niche and maybe not what you were expecting. Well….. they screened an original 16mm of Start Wars: A New Hope. The audience lost their minds!

Myself included, I had been wanting to rewatch that movie for a while now, as a matter of fact, I mentioned that in the post that wrote about the vintage holographic puzzle of Star Wars: A New Hope puzzle that I found last year, around this time of year! Imagine how excited I felt when I saw this puzzle at the thrift store, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Let’s hope that next autumn I find the Return of the Jedi!

This image was much more bright and shiny compared to the first one I assembled last year. I still really enjoyed my time on the first one from last year but this one had a lot of Sparkly shiny pieces to work with. It was super fun.

I tried to capture the sheen but it was tough, you’ll just have to take my word for it.

This another Milton Bradley gem from 1995, 550 pieces and complete. I really hope there’s a third one in my future!
