Star Trek: The Next Generation

When I put together the Star Wars puzzle last week, I wanted more of that science fiction energy so I decided to pull this Star Trek 300 piecer off the shelves. This is a Canada Games puzzle, which is really not a common brand for me, not that I don’t like them but they did make a lot of the generic landscape style puzzles. Which, of course I can get into but I usually gravitate to the Milton Bradley or Tuco vintage landscape images.

I was very curious to see how many Canada Games puzzles I’ve featured before and it appears that I’ve only ever blogged about two in the last ten years. I kind of forgot about Sinister Smorgasbord. I don’t know what to say, I know I do not come across them as often as I do other brands, but I kind of always pass them over.

This gem was part of the Start Wars haul I got earlier this year, I have a few more to assemble, and I guess I’m saving them. The Springbok ones are really cool, and they look a little tough so I guess I’m just holding until I feel inspired to take of the challenge!

This was a pretty dark puzzle, honestly, and the pieces were massive, I kind of assembled it in a weird and chaotic kind of way, basically because I had no more room on my puzzle board once I spread out all the pieces.

A fun evening actuvity, regardless! 300 pieces and complete from the rare feature, Canada Games in 1993.
