We’ve got a stunning vintage Springbok puzzle on our hands everyone! A 1974 500 piece Cross-stitch puzzle.

I don’t think I’ve seen this particular version of the logo, with a red and purple “O” in Springbok.

Next up, the puzzle was in perfect shape. The fit was an absolute dream, not too snug where you had to pound the pieces in like some of theirs from the 90s and early 2000s. Just the perfect fit but snug enough that puzzle felt secure.

Another feature that I’ve never seen is a lot of the pieces had an almost heart shaped connector or nubbin. And there were even some new style cut of pieces that I hadn’t seen before. I do love Springbok for their random cut and some of these were very random!

What else can I say?! It was awesome!

Never before seen piece cuts, never before seen logo, textile art, perfect fit, perfect condition, complete, and affordable? A definite puzzle win!

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
